Introducing Plan Your Pivot: Your Path to a More Purposeful Second Act

Ready for your next big quantum leap? by Natasha Dworkin

You are reading this post right now because I pivoted.

For nearly two decades, I helped purpose-driven organizations tell their stories, amplify their impact, and change the world. I loved my work. I’d founded my own agency, with many happy long term clients on my roster. I was doing projects that stretched me and that I found rewarding. I had won some awards, been invited to speak as an expert in my field, and I was earning a healthy income.

But then—4 years ago, when I had my first and only child at the at age of 46—I began to have a deep pervading sense that the old way of doing things, the old job, the old me, just wasn't going to cut it much longer. I wanted something more. I wanted something different.

Being an older mom, I wanted to spend as much time with my boy as I possibly could. I couldn’t bear the thought of him being in full time childcare while I kept up my agency-owner pace and came home too burned out to truly connect with him. I wanted the freedom and agility to have adventures together, to travel, even to live abroad for some of his formative years.

I also yearned to show him what doing the soul’s work looks like, so that he would have a model of purposeful living that he could aspire to on his own journey. I wanted to demonstrate for him that it is possible to make a life of one's own by making choices that align with our values, our gifts, and our passions.

So, I shuddered my agency. I let go of my team. I thought long and hard about what I wanted to do, who I wanted to be, and how I wanted to contribute. Then I took all those skills and all those years of experience helping change-making organizations do their work even better, and I reshaped it into something new—something that fills me up, lights the fire in my eyes, and affords me the lifestyle I need to be the mother I most want to be.

I launched a new business providing resources, support, training, and mentorship to other women as they make transformational change in their own lives. I leveraged the same proprietary Change Maker's Roadmap that I developed over two decades working with my agency clients and remastered it to build a suite of offerings aimed at helping purposeful women elevate their unique gifts and bring those gifts to bear in their communities and in our world.

I couldn't be more excited to tell you that, in less than one month's time, I'll officially launch the latest addition to my family of courses: Plan Your Pivot.

Plan Your Pivot is an immersive virtual experience, available in both a self-paced and a cohort format, that combines video lessons, personal reflection, guided activities, group coaching, and access to a vibrant community of like-minded women. It will help you envision a new future for yourself and your family, explore your own motivations, values, and passions, and plot the steps you'll need to take to get from where you are now to where you most deeply want to be. You'll complete the course with a step-by-step actionable roadmap to a more purposeful second act.

If you are looking to leap into the next season of your life with renewed focus, direction, and energy to actualize your potential, sign up for the Plan Your Pivot launch list. You will be the first to know when the doors open for enrollment, and also about the steep discounts I'll be offering to my inner circle only.

Let's make the next half of our lives the best half, shall we? Can't wait to bear witness as you plan and execute your very own transformational pivot!

xo, Natasha
